Testimony:
My life, like many others, is truly a story of God's grace! I was born in Palm Springs, California - but made many moves early in my life until my parents were divorced when I was 8 years old. After the divorce, my mom and us kids made a few more moves, struggling here and there, until we finally moved in with my grand-parents in Murrieta, California. It was there, at the age of 10 my grand-parents first began taking
me to church and I was introduced to Calvary Chapel. When I was 12 years old, my mom married again, and during the pre-marital counseling both her and my step-father re-dedicated their lives to Christ.
From there, we moved to Vista, California - where we began attending Calvary Chapel Vista. It was there, at the age of 13, I finally gave my life to Christ and became very involved in the Youth Ministry. I graduated from High School in 1991 and then spent that summer at Calvary Chapel's Conference Center in Austria. Upon my return, I began college and served as a counselor for the High School Ministry at Calvary Chapel Vista.
In 1992, not only did I move to Oregon to help plant a Calvary Chapel in Salem - but I also got married to my beautiful and incredible wife, Dory. I served at Calvary Chapel Salem through 2000 as both Worship Leader and Youth Pastor (Middle School, High School and eventually College). Then, at the end of 2000, we moved to St. Louis to pastor St. Louis Christian Fellowship - which eventually became Calvary Chapel O'Fallon.
Now, as 2009 comes to a close, I find myself upon a new threshold and within a new season of God's ever unfolding grace to me and my family. And, it is truly with great humility that
I receive the privilege to serve here at Calvary Chapel Troy. May The Holy Spirit empower me and equip me, as well as my wife and kids, to be the servants He desires us to be - glorifying Him and blessing the sweet folks and fellowship here at Calvary Chapel Troy!
It's a joy to be here!
